You are going to love this mind-blowing, luscious chocolate pudding recipe. It is full of healthy fats from the avocado, which is the superstar ingredient in this recipe that gives the pudding the most luxurious, velvety texture. This healthy chocolate pudding recipe is made entirely from clean, unprocessed ingredients and is naturally sweetened, gluten-free, vegan, paleo and raw.

How to Make Chocolate Avocado Pudding

This healthy, rich dessert is so unbelievably simple to make! For this Chocolate Avocado Pudding Recipe, I recommend:

  • Cuisinart Food Processor – This is the one I use and love! I have had mine for years and it is one of my favorite kitchen tools. I use mine all the time to quickly combine ingredients and to make sauces and dips.
  • Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk – I love the taste and consistency of this brand. It adds so much creaminess and richness to recipes.

this looks so creamy! i tried making this once, but ran out of cocoa powder and was too lazy to go out for more, so it definitely ended up as a swampy color that was much heavier on the avocado than the chocolate. oops.

Hey Heather! Thank you! ♡ When I was developing this recipe, I definitely had a higher avocado to chocolate ratio the first time I made it, so I know what you mean! Sufficient cocoa powder is imperative to chocolatey-tasting pudding, lol. 🙂

Hey Kankana! Agreed! I scrape every last bit of pudding out of my food processor after I make it because I don’t want any to go to waste! Haha 🙂

I love this dessert! I have a similar recipe but it doesn’t look anywhere near as delicious and shiny as yours. I’ll have to give yours a go. I feel so healthy having it for dessert. Ha!

Hi Kate! Aww thanks so much! ♡ You should definitely give mine a go, although I am sure your recipe is great too! 🙂 I love this recipe because you can’t even taste the avocado, it just tastes like rich chocolate pudding, so I think you will be happy with it!

This looks so tasty! Is it something that would still be good the next day, or do you recommend making it right before you’re ready to eat?

Thanks Valerie! I have always made this recipe right before I was ready to serve it, so I recommend doing that for the best flavor and texture. The pudding will keep, covered and refrigerated, for about 1 day, but I wouldn’t store it any longer than that. Hope that helps! 🙂
