Ingredients

  • 1 (28-ounce) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (4.5-ounce) can chopped green chiles
  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, loosely packed
  • 1 jalapeƱo pepper, stemmed and chopped (seeds and membranes removed, if you want less heat)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
